Gemini prefer the use of 17-4 PH stainless steel for their thin-walled chokes. It has an excellent balance between mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. In Gemini's manufacturing process the choke further undergoes a specific heat treatment known as “aging hardening” that increases the hardness to 1300-1450 N/mm2, and then is bleached or whitened.
